Kim Am, CEO of BIMA Cambodia, said: “We are excited to partner with the Union of Youth Federations and introduce BIMA, an international insurance company, to a new and younger audience. Our business has seen rapid growth through the strong partnership with mobile operator smart and we will continue to grow through partnerships with other private organizations and health care companies to offer diverse, simple and affordable products to consumers.
She continues: “We are very committed to increasing access to vital health and insurance services for all families in Cambodia. Insurance penetration rates in Cambodia remains low at less than 1% of the country’s GDP, meaning if the worst should happen, people face the burden of financial and health expenses. We offer our products starting at $1 a month to help all families have access to a financial safety net”.
